I’m Joshua, the founder of Giant Bamboo lead generation agency. I moved to Spain as a trained journalist in 2019. I worked for Spain’s leading English newspaper, the Olive Press, and for major UK publications: from the BBC to the Mail on Sunday, The Sun and the Sunday Times.
When COVID-19 hit in 2020 I became a freelance SEO content writer. But I had a large contract cancelled the month before my daughter’s birth and realised I needed a constant flow of leads to keep my business afloat.
I had a choice: leave my new home in Javea, Spain, or stay and grow my business. I invested my last euro into lead-generation copywriting programmes during paternity leave. The combination of journalism-standard content with lead-generation strategies worked wonders for me & my clients. Since then, I have generated 3,000+ premium English-speaking leads in Spain and added €1+ million in revenue for my clients.
